Prenatal Program

Goodwin Community Health strongly encourages women to receive prenatal care as early as possible in pregnancy.

Picture1You do not need insurance to begin prenatal care with us! We will never turn an uninsured pregnant woman away. We will help you apply for Medicaid specifically for pregnant woman at your first visit.

Prenatal Care at Goodwin is provided by a multidisciplinary team. We encourage care to begin as early as possible. Education and support are very important in the philosophy of prenatal care at Goodwin. Women are welcome to meet with a prenatal nurse or staff to answer questions and gain resources tailored to your needs. A nutritionist is also available for dietary concerns. We use a comprehensive, friendly approach, individualizing each woman’s care.

You may choose a practitioner from our staff of certified nurse midwives and physicians. We partner with Frisbee Memorial Hospital, Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, Garrison Women’s Health, Dover Women’s Health and Obstetrics Gynecology and Infertility to let you decide where to give birth and follow you through your delivery with our OB/GYN partners.
