Are you on the bus route?
Yes. We are conveniently accessible via the COAST Bus. For bus schedules and information visit . http://www.coastbus.org/schedules_maps.html. We are also an active member of ACT’s new Community Transportation group. Their directory can be found on the right-hand sidebar of the following page: Community Rides If you cannot afford bus fare, please DO NOT cancel your appointment. Call us at 603-749-2346 to arrange an alternative transportation plan.

Are you a ”Free” clinic?
No, even though Federal, State and local funds allow us to provide a discount to non-insured patients, we must rely on patients paying their remaining balances to continue providing quality care. We do except most Insurance, Medicaid and Medicare coverage, if you do not have coverage you can apply for our Sliding Fee Scale.

Do you have to be a Goodwin patient to use the walk-in clinic?
We have three different types of walk-in services available.
Sick-Visit Walk-In: Monday-Friday 8:45am-11:30am. This walk-in is available for ESTABLISHED patients only, on a first-come-first-serve basis. Click here if you would like to become a new patient.
Emergency Dental Walk-In: Monday-Friday 8:00am-11:00am. You DO NOT need to be an established patient to access this service. If you have a dental emergency, you can walk in and be evaluated during this time, also on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Immunization Walk-In: Wednesdays 1:30pm-4pm. You do not need to be a patient to access this service. For children, we require an up-to-date immunization record, as well as written vaccine recommendations from the school nurse. Proof of last physical is also recommended.

Do you have to be a Goodwin Primary Care patient to utilize mental health services?
Yes. You must first establish care with one of our primary care providers before you can be referred to our integrated mental health providers. Click here if you would like to become a new patient.

Do you have to be a Goodwin Primary Care patient to utilize dental services?
No. Patients may establish care with our dental team without needing to be a primary care patient.

Do you have to be a Goodwin patient to visit Great Bay Mental Health?
No. Great Bay Mental Health is now accepting new clients. You do not need to be a Goodwin patient to be seen at Great Bay Mental Health. You can make appointments for Great Bay Mental Health by calling 603-742-9200 or visit them online at www.greatbaymentalhealth.com.

How do I request a medication refill?
For medication samples or medications you receive through a pharmacy with a prescription, call the Medication refill line 48 hours before you run out at 603-749-2346 x309. You will get an answering machine where you will leave your name, date of birth, the name of the medication, the dose you are taking, and if you would like the prescription called in, the name of your pharmacy and the town it is in. We will have your pills ready for pick up at the front desk or called in to your pharmacy.

What if I need lab work done?
While you may use any lab, we recommend NorDx. They are onsite here at Goodwin Community Health. NorDx is a high quality lab and with fees that are often lower than identical tests from area hospitals. Also, results come directly into Goodwin Community Health. NorDx offers discounts for fees paid at time of service and will honor Goodwin’s sliding scale fee.
