June Dysinger, CNM, MN, MPH
June received her BSN in nursing at Loma Linda University in California in 1988. Her early nursing career was spent as a Labor & Delivery RN, a childbirth educator, and a lifestyle health educator. June’s graduate education was at Emory University in Georgia, where she completed dual master’s degrees in public health and nurse midwifery in 1994. During her midwifery career, June has practiced in California, New London New Hampshire, and inner-city and suburban Atlanta. In California and Georgia, June’s midwifery responsibilities included educating family practice physician residents and nurse midwifery students in the art of catching babies. Outside of midwifery, June has taught Health Promotion in a BSN nursing program, and spent time raising two special boys.June feels attending women as a midwife is a passion and a calling. It is an honor to be present to and walk the path of birth with women.June is an active member of the American College of Nurse Midwives and Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society of Nursing.June currently lives in Dover with her son William. In her spare time she enjoys participating in Special Olympics with William, embroidery sewing, and playing with “Not So Big” cottage designs.
