SOMERSWORTH –June 17, 2013 – Two new clinicians have joined the staff of Great Bay Mental Health Associates at Goodwin Community Health in Somersworth, NH.


Mitch Rosenzweig, LICSW

Mitch Rosenzweig is a highly skilled and solutions-oriented professional dedicated to providing exceptional care and implementing effective treatment plans for children, adolescents, and adults. Rosenzweig is experienced in a wide variety of practice settings including numerous military installations and public and private agencies. Areas of specialized training include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Adult, Child and Family Therapy, Personal Coaching, Personality Disorders, Trauma Issues, and Addictions. He has had extensive expertise with child welfare, family reunification and parenting support, as well as in military specific areas of deployment/reintegration, building resilience and coping, and grief and loss. He has been in private practice as a psychotherapist for more than 25 years. He is the author of “Insights from the ordinary; Rethinking the everyday.”

Rosenzweig earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rutgers University. He is Independently Licensed Social Worker in New Hampshire and Michigan and a member of the prestigious Academy of Certified Social Workers.


Gail Minschwaner, LCSW

Gail Minschwaner is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 8 years’ experience as a mental health therapist. Minschwaner holds a passionate belief in each person’s individual value and the validity of personal goals. She specializes in strength based, cognitive treatment strategies and envisions her work as a privileged opportunity to join with clients in their journeys toward wellness. Areas of special interests include depression, women’s issues, stage of life issues, loss and bereavement, adjustments to chronic medical conditions and life transitions such as divorce.
