ABOUT THE RACE
This Father’s Day, Sunday, June 19, 2011, runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are invited to lace-up their sneakers and head to Margaritas of Dover, for the second annual Father’s Day 5k – a benefit for Goodwin Community Health.
This June event celebrates Men’s Health Month and invites the public to run and walk for the Dad’s, brothers and sons who touch their lives. Proceeds will help local families struggling without insurance to gain access to quality healthcare through
Goodwin Community Health .
Margaritas will set the stage for this one of a kind family friendly 5k featuring Margarita’s style food, fun and party! This year, we are adding a “Necktie” theme to the event. Don’t forget to wear a necktie in honor of someone special or for Father’s everywhere!
AWARDS & PRIZES
Top Male and Female runner will win a $125 gift certificate to Runners Alley. A $25 gift certificate to Philbricks Sports will go to the top male and female in each of the ten age divisions:
14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59 and 60+.
Prizes include 2 Tickets to a Boston Red Sox Game courtesy of W.B. Mason and a new ESPRI Camping Tent from Nemo Equipment.

Beginner and seasoned runners/walkers can visit http://www.active.com/running/dover-nh/fathers-day-5k-2011 to sign up online. You can also get Registration Forms by downloading and printing here or at Margaritas of Dover. Completed forms can be mailed to Goodwin Community Health or dropped off at Margaritas of Dover.
Day of registration is $25 but advanced registration is only $20 and just $5 for children under twelve.
The first 200 paid registrations receive a Free Race T-Shirt!

This year the course will be certified. There is plenty of Free Parking courtesy of Margaritas and Homewood Suites.
Packet Pick-up
Pre-registered runners and walkers can pick-up registration packets at Margarita’s in Dover on Saturday, June 18th from 11am—3pm or Sunday from 7:00am—8:15am.
Kickoff time is 8:30am.
