“Access and affordability make it very difficult for many local families to keep up with regular visits to doctors, dentists and social workers. Avis Goodwin helps bridge the gap to make routine and preventative health care for many people who might otherwise fall through the cracks,” says Renee Allen, Special Events Manager for Avis Goodwin Community Health Center. “We hope this race will attract from the local running community as well as first time runners and walkers drawn in by the cause.”
